Valdell - Round 16 - 32. Poplar (Deanna)
Welcome back to Valdell!
I am 25 weeks pregant today! The heart burn has subsided a bit, thank goodness! Baby boy has been kicking me like crazy <3
Anyways, on to the sims!
Last Time: Clint Poplar passed away, I was quite sad tbh. He was one of our original founders. He is the only sim I let drink the green slop from the aspiration reward to keep him alive lol. Deanna is a single mom that moved back in with her parents after getting pregnant with her son, Elijah. She has been dating around a bit but nothing has stuck. Deanna isn't very interested in romance. Elijah grew up into a cute kid. Deanna joined the business career thanks to a townie offering her a job, and she is excelling at it.
This Time: Unexpected fight: random sim in household, w/ highest relationship (Deanna rolled to do this, so it's time to fight her mother D: )
This is the original Poplar house! The only thing that has changed has been the landscaping outside, and the addition of the pool.
The interior has been decorated the same for years and years. Maybe I'll make a note for Deanna to change it up next round.

Here is Gretchen Poplar, the last living sim of the first gen
Who is actually on her last day, so she decided to skip work and call up her kids.

Gretchen has 6 kids and a lot of grandchildren!
Her youngest son, Thomas, is the only one who agreed to come over!

Elijah and Deanna both get home from work and school at the same time and always hug each other right away <3
Then I noticed she has 3 bolts with Roger Barrett!
Hmmm... interesting indeed...
These two could potentially make a good couple...
Deanna decided it was a good night for going out to eat!
So they headed to Roger, That!
Elijah reminded Deanna and me that it was his birthday tomorrow
Oh yeah I totally didn't send Deanna and her son here to meet Roger, nopee
(Also weird side note, this is usually how I decide if sims will make cute babies, by looking at their profiles and seeing if their faces would look okay with swapped noses lmao)
They definitely like each other!
The next day, it was time for Elijah's birthday!!
Deanna invited over Sam Sawyer, Elijah's father, and the two met and got to know each other
Roger was also invited!
Deanna's siblings: Uhhh we are playing a game here, you know?!

Deanna, being the knowledge sim she is, decided to try summoning some aliens!
She was a little bit shocked that it actually worked!
A few hours later, the aliens returned Deanna as a PlantSim!

She was quite happy with this change
Elijah, I don't think doing your homework in the street it really a good idea...

Deanna invited Roger over for a date, but she really wasn't feeling it. :(
She didn't roll any romance wants for Roger and soon stopped rolling wants for him all together, so she ended it early.
I didn't think she would get abducted again but they came 10 minutes before dawn!
And returned her in the broad daylight!
No changes this time
Elijah isn't too keen on his Mom messing with the supernatural
He left his Mom to tend her garden while he went into town for a cell phone
And some groceries
Roger sent Deanna a cute little love note, aww!
And Elijah greeted his cousin, Mads Mikkel, and invited him inside for lunch after seeing him walking by outside
Roger was also walking by outside! Deanna jumped out of the pool to say hello
And finally ACR took over!
... and we all know what this means!
That was quick lol. I almost had her make a plantbaby right before Roger came by, glad I decided to wait!

- I really had given up on Roger and Deanna being together! But Roger obviously had other plans!
- I think I will have Roger and his daughter move in with Deanna next round. It eliminates a household in my list so win, win!
- Plant baby next time too? Hmm.. but all of their bedrooms will be full. We will ponder :D
