Valdell - Round 16 - 20. Gray
Hi! Long time no see! :)
I have recently been without internet for a few days so I got back into our beloved Sims 2 because it was pretty much the only thing I could play without connection.
I have been playing Valdell, of course, and figured I should catch up on posting some updates.
So!
Let's meet Valerie Gray and see what she has been up to this round...
Last Time: Valerie Gray, an old friend of Sandra Reisenburgs, escaped her abusive relationship and bought a plane ticket and went to Valdell in hopes that Sandra would take her in, just temporarily. Sandra, taken by surprise, reluctantly agree to let Val stay with her and her family until she gets on her feet. Valerie got a job in the political career and tried to meet new people, feeling she was imposing on Sandra's life a bit. Everyone welcomed her with open arms, though! After spending a season with the Reisenburg's, Val moved out on her own ready to start a new life in Valdell.
This Time: Visit 5 community lots!
Valerie purchased this little house on the north side of town. It was a little old and rundown but she figured she could make it work.

First things first, Valeria had a dusty old lamp in her inventory she got last round, so she decided to fire it up for some remodeling cash.
Her little house turned out adorable!
Then it was time to visit some lots!
New house, time for a new look. She was off to the salon for a haircut.
Cute!
And new clothes :)
Then to the newly rebuilt Valdell bowling alley, Galaxy Lanes.
Val had a good time and met some new sims. :)
Later that night, Valerie's luck turned and she was robbed!
Valerie: Did I just hear the door?
Not the antique copper pans D:
Yay!
Despite being quite shaken at the break in, Val was determined to not let last night kill her mood and went back into town.
She visited Bamboo for some lunch.
While waiting for a table, she hit it off with Benjamin Maranda (by @maranatah)
She decided to ask him to join her for lunch.
(Ben has been a townie since I started the hood, so somewhere along the way he lost his clothes and has been wearing that pirate outfit :P )

They had a decent time and agreed to see each other again, despite only sharing one bolt.
Val went to the city park and tried to catch some fish.
She didn't have much luck.
Then she decided to visit the cinema.
And she grabbed a burger at Roger, That! for an early dinner.
Back at home, Ben called and asked her on another date!
Valerie waited for him for a couple hours, but Ben never showed. :(
Back to work the next day, and Val came home with a promotion.
She sent Ben an angry text that he had stood her up, and he responded and said that she was the one that didn't show! Turns out they both went to different bars!
Ben came over right away and they both couldn't stop apologizing for their mistake.

Feels good to post again. I hope some people read these and enjoy. :)
I really like Valerie and Benjamin together, even though they only share one bolt. We will see what happens with them next time.
