Hooray!
I recently found out that a favorite book series of mine A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin is in the works to be made into a t.v. show on HBO. It hasn't been picked up for sure, yet, but they do have plans to film the pilot so it has at least gotten the go-ahead to do that much. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I believe they are actually going to call it A Game of Thrones, which is the title of the first book. I'm not sure why they are doing that instead of the series name, but at this point I'm just happy that it might make it as a show. The plan is for each book to be one season long. Now, if only GRRM would finish book 5 I'd be ecstatic!
