Doctor Who has been off the air for over a week now so I can go back to worrying about shmups.
Ignoring the fact that he's been assembled wrong, this guy is looking very cool. I dont expect the paint apps to be as good on the final product though. Can't say I'm too chuffed about the rest of the set. The Rayforce ship is good but I dont think I want it.
Also in the news: Thunder Force VI! Interesting, as I 1CCed all the Megadrive games only a few months ago. II is horribly underrated, III is horribly overrated and IV is pretty much perfect. Yes, I had a bit of an epiphany with Thunder Force IV. I played it to death when I was a kid and then with the advent of new systems and the internet, went off to search for better things. It wasnt until I came back recently that I realised, as it turns out, I had the perfect shmup in my hands all along. Some of those Thunder Force VI screenies look dangerously shitty though.
My GII Vic Viper kit is lost in the post. Hobby Japan are tracing the package but Ive chosen to forget about it for now as I've more important things to worry about.

Yes, I've quit my flat and moved back in with Mummy and Daddy temporarily. I'll be leaving for Canada in about 5 weeks. Jenn has already gone. Thinking about it, I shouldve stayed in the flat right 'till the end - but at least I dont have to worry about bills and junk in the final, mad dash to sort out all of my affairs before I go!
