They’re never polished when she has sex with him. Always raw and unlacquered. She digs them into his skin, and he groans deep in the back of his throat.
He’s glad for the physical pain. It takes away from the emotional torment caused by their trysts.
It’s her desire for control, he thinks, that makes her press down so hard. Hard enough to draw blood, but not deep enough so the wounds don’t close up before the blood trails down his back.
She’s determined to leave her mark on him.
