Wow. I really, really enjoyed this. You gave a very unique backstory to Alex, and more importantly the Others, and I have to say, I love your portrayal of not!Henry. The way you capitalized 'He' and 'Him' really lended itself strongly to this belief system you've set-up for the Others. And I have to say, for a character we know nothing about you made Alex very likable and 3-dimensional. Great job, and I look forward to reading more from you.

(and PS: your header is gorgeous :) )

Thanks for such a kind review! The reason behind the reference to Henry as 'He' and 'Him' is because we don't know his name on the show and I figured anything I made up would seem to make him more humane than I believe he is. As for Alex, she intrigues me and I think she is very different from the Others, even though she was probably raised to believe their ways. Thanks again for reading!

I'm one of those fans that don't really care about the newer characters, I really like the original Losties (I did like Goodwin at first though)....but you've made me interested in Alex. So I guess in other words, good job! :-) (yeah I know I'm a dork)

I hope that the canon Alex will also want to help our "others".

You're not the only one. I like my original first season characters thank you very much. None of these new people (save for Eko) from Season Two ever attracted me. But now we've got these new people for Season Three so I might as well get used to them now. Alex, and Not!Henry were the only ones out of the Others that got my mind reeling. Everyone (well mostly) likes the hatch monkey, and Alex just seems like she would have such an interesting backstory.

Thanks for reading!

Thanks, I'm glad the idea wasn't too far fetched. It was just something that occured to me in the middle of the night. I always thought that Ethan and Goodwin seemed a bit different from people like Not!Henry, and Tom. They were less mysterious, but a little more conniving and modernized.
