HOW CAN 10K FEEL LIKE IT WAS OVER IN A SECOND? THAT IS HOW GOOD YOU ARE. MY MOUSE JUST KEPT SCROLLING AND MY BRAIN JUST KEPT GOBBLING UP THIS AWESOMENESS AND THE AMAING CLIFFHANGER ENDING. GURRRRRRL, DAMN.
Okay, I know I told you this before but a;sldkfj I LOVE THIS PLOTTY STUFF. It is truly delicious. I am just..my mind boggles at your ability to weave all these little details and subplots and action and intrigue. It just all reads so seamlessly! You are a master.
I LOVE all the gorgeously angsty bits in this. And I love that you manage to make those moments hurt like a punch in the gut without being over the top about it. You slip in lines about Morgan and Ellie and Chuck's regret and reluctance and it's all so nuanced and perfect.
ALSO.
Can I just talk about how amazing your handling of these ships is? (Not that it isn't always) Especially sections like this
“Right because the best way to hurt someone is kill the people close to them.” The idea makes his skin crawl, makes him glad for his sister’s absence ( ... )

I'm really glad you had more fun writing them this time around! I'm sorry they were giving you such a hard time in the first part. (Not that it came across in the story whatsoever). And I love your dedication to them being something more important than just sex. Again with something this long, you really kind of have to have that lol but still! It makes me happy!
Yay! ♥!

This fic is like a box of chocolates, I read a bit and had to stop because I was enjoying it so much. Also I went back to re-read the first one which I'd saved on my computer.
Loved the scope and rance of the whole thing. The traveling aspect of Chuck and Bryce's bits of the story was fantabulous. Loved the descriptions of Gianni and what Bryce was thinking.
As for the Sarah/Casey. So fantastic. Your Sarah was smart and realistic for a SUPERSPYCHICK. And CARINA. Love her. Can't believe the show hasn't figured out what's so great about her or maybe they have and they've just lost the plot on everything else?
I wanna quote the whole thing. I really do. I'm gonna pick one bit that just got me so friggin hard:
“No, I should’ve just asked you to come. The one good idea Morgan’s had in the last two days.” It catches her off guard, the almost warm way he says it. Hell, it even seems to catch him off guard from the way he seems to frown at his own reflection in the rearview mirror ( ... )
