UGH MY HEART!
OH MY GOD. BRB CRYING FOREVER.
This is so beautiful. It's like the show finally gave us this little storyline on a silver platter but it isn't until you write it and expand it and knock it out of the park (in just 300 words!! how?!) that is really becomes complete in my mind.
SO PERFECT.
Especially this line
Sarah didn’t believe in anything much but her own two hands for a very, very long time before that belief was able to grow to encompass the people closest to her.
Ugh just YES. I love this! I love YOU! :D

Ugh, so, true story, I was all set to write plot-less smutty shit for pbattle, and then I watched the episode and I just couldn't. I couldn't get these two and the ANGST out of my head. They slay me, and I'm so glad that we got that episode because it had something to go on and the potential for so much meaning later on.

I really want to do more with the aftermath, I just haven't figured out how yet, so for now I'm just really glad that this little thing worked for you. Thanks so much hun!

I wish the show would have shown more of how sad and hurt she was for hurting Casey. Maybe they will. You'd think she'd just be wrecked by it. Great fic. :)

I feel like they're going to skim over this whole event in the aftermath but they really shouldn't. This is a big deal and I think it would serve to enhance the partnership/relationship between these two on the show.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

This was so well and so beautifully said in very few words.

While I hope that this event will change and hopefully deepen Sarah and Casey's connection, my fear is that the writers will gloss over it with an eventual "I'm so sorry Casey, I'm glad you're okay," response from Sarah when Project Volkoff is wrapped up.

I think the most the whole Casey debacle will elicit is an awkward "I love you, Alex" from Casey to his daughter. Anyway, I guess that's just my cynicism talking.

This was fabulous. Thanks for taking the time to write it!

I sincerely hope that they don't gloss over it, but I feel like the Casey+Sarah dynamic gets a bit lost as of late, with all the relationship angst and mommy drama, so I'm hopeful but not expecting miracles, you know? I totally get your cynicism; I've had my fair share of issues with this season of Chuck, haha.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Okay I don't know what happened in the episode but I was still amazed by this.

Relief had given way to something worse than terror - helplessness. Forty feet up and unable to do a damn thing to stop it, and all she could think of was that he promised he would be okay and John Casey had never failed to keep a promise.

Or maybe I'm just a rabid fangirl of yours now.

I really need a Casey/Sarah icon!

It was amazing. And by amazing, I mean there was solid interaction between the two of them and serious events that ensued due to said interaction (witness me try not to spoil you).

You do. Try gigglemonster at lensflair_inc. That's where all of mine come from.

I'm glad you liked this, even out of context! Thanks for reading and reviewing hun!
