So, I've watched all the Alex scenes up to where he's explaining his idea to the new paeds attending... I have a feeling the important stuff is still to come? Yes? Unfortunately I can't find a site that is streaming it... (what I have found was on youtube).
Actually, one of the more reliable streaming sites doesn't have any GA episodes after S07E04, which I think speaks volumes...! And I used to be able to find SOMEWHERE to stream it from at around 4pm here, it's now 8.36pm and none of the usuals have it...
Oh, also? I watched Cristina cut Callie's hair. Um. I don't know what that was, but it sure as hell wasn't PTSD! What are they doing to that character?!
ETA: So, it's like after 1am and I finally found somewhere to see the end. Skipped lots, but... yeah. Alex? Seriously? Not sure how that makes me feel.
That is some super shitty family history right there, BUT (and it's a kinda big one)... doesn't really give you a free pass for that behaviour, imo. What did you think? I don't mean the shouting at her part, I'm more talking about the "can we slow down?" and him pretty much doing the opposite part...
I mean, I seriously HATED Owen for the PTSD is an excuse to choke my gf storyline so...
Plus side? ALEX/MEREDITH INTERACTION FOR THE FREAKING WIN!!!!! Every damn time...! I skipped 3/4 of the episode BUT I WATCHED THAT BIT FOUR TIMES!
(Also, did anyone else notice that Amber is a year younger than she was in Sympathy For The Parents?! I'm sure she was 17 then!)
I have no idea what the haircutting was but I kind of liked the Cristina/Callie interaction so...not biting the hand that feeds me.
I honestly don't think his behavior was that bad, and not at all comparable to Owen and his PTSD. Yeah, he yelled. Yeah, he acted like an ass. That's Alex. He asked if she wanted to stop, she said she didn't, and he went ahead. Sure, this probably turns her off of sex for a while but, um, she kept most of her clothes on which is more than I can say for how that would've gone with a lot of other people. Numerous times people told her that she didn't want any of that, and, well, turns out she didn't. Plus, I really do believe he gets what he did was wrong and he took that first punch from Jackson as penance. He probably would've apologized to her if Jackson hadn't gone nuts on him.
So. You know. Imo, that was not all that inexcusable.
That Alex/Meredith scene makes my life.
(I have no idea about the age thing -- I only ever saw that episode once.

And yeah, the age thing has since been confirmed. Epic continuity fairy FAIL! (OH, unless there is ANOTHER sister that we don't know anything about yet... which is clearly a possibility since it took us 6 seasons to really find out he had ANY siblings!)
