STEEEEEPPHHHHHHHHH
HOLY FUCKING SHIT
PARDON MY FRENCH. NO, ACTUALLY, DON'T. IT NEEDED TO BE SAID!
This is..I don't even...words, what are they right now?!
This whole thing is just like a punch to the gut in the best possible way. I love the way you can so effortlessly tap into and shine a light on the deeper darker side of these characters in a way they couldn't ever do on the show. I love Sarah in this. LOVE LOVE LOVE her in this. I love how it is sparse and cold and harsh and heartbreaking all at the same time.
And I adore this section

Once, her finger froze on the trigger.

A shot fired and it wasn’t hers. A woman fell. Chuck had never looked more confused and Bryce had never looked more disappointed.

Casey’s words still cut the most.

“You want something done right, you do it yourself.”

I seriously gasped when I read it. The way you tied it back to her father is just pure poetry. I cannot gush enough about this, for serious. But I will try to stop because it's getting to the point where I start to sound like a crazy person.
THIS = ♥

You can't see me but I'm blushing right now.

Effortlessly was so not the word with this, let me tell you. This. Was. Hard. Because I love Sarah, as a character -- never mind as one half of like a ton of ships -- and I really wanted to do her justice. So, um, you saying you loved her in this pretty much made all the yelling at my computer that I did yesterday while writing totally worth it.

You never sound like a crazy person. Your word is pretty much scripture as far as my Chuck fics go so you better bet I value every word (this is what happens when you get me into a fandom). So thank you, so, so much! I'm thrilled that you liked this!
