Stephhhhhhhhhhhhh this is AMAZING OMG
Like, I'm pretty sure I need to read it a few more times to absorb all the awesomeness of it.
I love that you added that scene with her and Chuck and made that sort of awkward guilt a part of this. I think that just adds another layer of angst and believability to this and makes it even more interesting to read.
There are so many lines that I want to quote back to you that I would probably just end up copying the whole thing. There are so many little details that just capture Sarah so perfectly and you get a sense of an extra depth to the character that not even the show has explored yet.

She’s still not content to die here. But then she isn’t content to die anywhere, even if she doesn’t fear it.

That line especially struck me. So yeah basically this is gorgeous and perfect and you are my hero

Aw ♥ ♥ ♥

It's weird because I don't really write Chuck into my fics. I kind of just...go around him because I have a really hard time writing him. There's something about the way he talks that I can't nail down. But this fic had to have that part in it, I think.

As for Sarah, the more I write her the more comfortable I get. She's a lot of fun to write and this is the first time I've really written Sarah fic as opposed to 'insert pairing here'.

Anyways, long explanation aside, I'm really fucking glad that you liked this! You totally keep me going with this show, this pairing, and pretty much everything. Thanks so much hun!

Wow... after your other two Sarah/Casey fics that I just love love, and must go back and add to my memories... Wow.

I love the depth to Sarah's character that you've explored so very adeptly, might I add.

Fave bits, because let's face it, I'm a quote whore:

She sets the gun on the table, to remove even fleeting temptation. Walking out his front door is the better option.

“Neither was sleeping with you.”

“If you’re going to break one of the rules then you might as well go all out.”

- Duuuude! High-Five!

It does make her check the glove compartment for her gun, feels the knife strapped to her ankle, concealed by her boot.

And then she runs towards danger.

- I have so much frigging love for this fic, I nearly died of excitement when I saw you'd written another casey/sarah-oriented fic on my flist.

Thanks a tonne for sharing.

I can pretty much promise you that 90% of the fics I will write in this fandom will be Casey/Sarah. It really is my OTP. So I'm glad there's at least a few people out there who like these two.

I'm so glad you liked you liked this! Your feedback really puts a smile on my face. Thanks so much!

God, you write Sarah SO WELL.

Her entire life has been about not making a name for herself.

She’s still not content to die here. But then she isn’t content to die anywhere, even if she doesn’t fear it.

I just love this line so much. As I do like...every single thing here. Hearts in my eyes, etc.
