If you're horrible, then so am I. I don't buy Owen/Cristina anymore because I think he holds her back; she cares about her job first, and that's damn near refreshing to me actually. And you're very right about that feeling.

It's partially my love and dispair for Burke/Cristina. It's also the fact that I fucking hate Owen. ;)

Why did I create in_the_after? Maybe because last season Owen had a set of balls and he actually seemed to give a damn about Cristina and what she needed. Or maybe it's because last season he didn't have his head shoved so far up his ass that you couldn't figure out where he started and ended. Or maybe it's that there are people in the fandom that are of the opinion that if you don't shit rainbows and spout positivity that you're a negative and hateful person and therefore not worthy of the 'ship' that is Owen/Cristina. The fandom isn't fun anymore because you're not allowed to have an opinion. At all.

I'm pretty sure that your comment is the perfect example of that. Am I hoping for redemption? Yeah. For the character. The fandom itself is pretty ruined for me.
