You create stories so seamlessly and everything just fits and it flows and KC's totally right it went by so fast. I didn't want it to be over! I loved the way you worked in all the Oceanic stuff - especially the appearances by Locke and Charlie, very chilling, very awesome.
The whole mood and atmosphere of the fic feels a little chilling and haunting actually. Just them having the same dreams of the stars and that feeling like some memory is just out of their reach. It's great. Also, I love Claire in this an insane amount. She's so elusive and secretive and it's so hard to just pinpoint what her deal is that you really feel like your in Jack's shoes almost. It's very interesting. I particularly love this line about her:
He remains unsurprised by how chaste she is, gentle, like everyone she’s ever laid a hand on has done nothing but turn to dust underneath her fingertips.
So heartbreaking but so damn good!
I also really love the way their relationship progresses. You really do get the sense that they had some sort of connection to begin with cuz they don't seem to be together a lot but it doesn't take him very long at all to figure out when she's lying and stuff. I love that little detail SO much.
So yeah basically this is perfection and THANK YOU SOO SO MUCH! I couldn't have asked for anything more, I really appreciate it hun :) ♥ ♥!
ps. the picture you chose is very gorgeous also!

The memory is out of their reach in a way. They don't know each other in this particular reality but they did before. What didn't come across here, but what was very active in my head and the planning of this, was they each remembered the person who they had unfinished business with, or perhaps had some strong connection to. It's why Locke remembered Jack, and Charlie remembered Claire. Jack and Claire are siblings and Jack knew that and who knows where Claire went and what she knew, but they never got a chance to know it while knowing each other, so they found each other here. If that makes any sense.
Anyways, I won't ramble on anymore. I'm just beyond thrilled that you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
