This reminded me of something I watched in my Euro studies class three weeks ago. One segment of the film included parades in which people would dress up as comical versions of American political figures. It was interesting because it seems that all around the world, people care about U.S. politics while within the U.S., a large portion of people could care less.
That is true. I think here, 20-30% of eligible voters actually vote during presidential elections, maybe higher this year. It's ridiculous. I can't vote this election, but I definitely will in the next one.

We just had the primary here in Indiana so it was political mayhem here for a while.
