Yeah, you're pretty much the only one I counted on to give me feedback for this (Kate and Sun just is not a big draw unfortunately) so I'm extra glad that you liked this. And yes, I totally meant to be creepy. This is what country music does to me.
Country music = evil, so that isn't a surprise. Although Lost did bury two people alive, so it's not like two characters driving across the US with a body in their trunk wouldn't be in the vein of the show.
Well, that's damn cool. I don't think I've ever read a Kate/Sun fic before. Are there more? Cause I'd totally read them if there were... I like the way Kate takes care of Sun's problem here and, although I'm sorry for the reason they've been brought together (who could have known that after the way I hated Jin is S1 I would have come to love him?) I think they have a pretty good dynamic between them.
Well I have a claim over at slash_100 for Kate/Sun, so yes there are more. Many, many more. They're in my memories if you're curious, as well as being posted at kateandsun. This is definitely just minor Kate/Sun though, more about their friendship than anything else.
They do have a nice dynamic on the show and I definitely wanted to portray that here. And I'm with you on Jin. I never thought I'd like him, not after Season One.
I'm glad you liked this. Thanks so much for reading!
I love this plot! I guess I tend to forget that if/when Sun and Jin do get off the island, that's only the beginning for them. I can see Sun's father deciding his life would be easier if he offed Jin. Jin certainly knows all his secrets. And I love anything with a darker Sun in it. The (justified?) murder of her father is awesome - and Kate and Sun together is always fun to explore.
When/if they do get off it is the beginning. They've got a lot of problems to face due to her father, and I've never really explored that so i thought I would. I'm glad the plot went over well with you, I had thought it was a bit too out there almost. I'm glad you guys seem to think otherwise.

Mmhmm. And also what I listened to as a child so it's what's played when I regress back to age 5-9.
