Awesome story!

I think I have some embarrassing love for this line: "Please tell me you didn't risk breaking the entire space-time continuum to get laid," he mumbled.

I love that line, too. It's one of those questions you'd never think you would have to ask, let alone ask yourself, and yet there Cam is being forced to do so. Poor guy. :D

Very enjoyable. i like the discussion about John, and how despite the fact he had different experiences, he's still the same, as viewed by Cam. The various pieces of advice were stellar. Local John won't know what hit him!

John is John, wherever you go. Maybe somewhere there's one with a buzz cut, but it seems unlikely.

"Define relationship," Cam said, hedging his response. "This is John we're talking about."

Oh, yeah. They know John all right....

Fun!

Heh, yeah, you have to be specific when talking about some subjects with him. Thanks!

The part that got me was this:

he ended up in charge after the original CO got eaten.

I about died laughing. Oh so true, and oh so hysterically funny way of putting it.

BTW, how you want a handful of typo/grammar error reports?

It's a very succinct and understated way of explaning it without all the messy details, yes?

(Just PM 'em to me, if you like.)
