The majority of this day has found me curled up in knitted mukluks while absorbing the rays of cable television. Viewings have included the History Channel special on the story of narcotic epidemics in the United States, the first being a result of treating Civil War soldiers in the wake of multiple amputations. Later, I watched a special on the same network on the art of tattooing. They interviewed the Lizardman (
http://www.thelizardman.com/), which was mostly amusing in that he says things like "guesstimate", and is incredibly chipper.
Being ill always brings about an ironic desire to hop up and exercise. I'm contemplating going for a walk, or doing a round of Suhaila Salimpour's rump exercises. The invisible hose and 10 pound weight that is attached to my sinus cavity might be a problem, though.

Polyvore.com I'm going to muster up the get-go to make some soup, now. There's a butternut squash in my kitchen that's been unemployed for far too long!
