It's the WAY!
Well hellz bellz, look who went from having no job to having 2? Today was my first day hitting the pavement with my new boss in sales. I didn't say a word all day, but still made a nice little commission from the sale we got, and he took me out to lunch, at my favorite restaurant even! Ha ha. And yesterday I got a job at Pizza Hut. Let's not laugh too loud, folks - I told my mom and she cracked up for about 20 minutes. But at least it's a job, and I'll finally have waitressing experience.
I went last night to get the massage that Jill and Adrianne got me for my birthday. It was awesome!! A little weird if you're not used to hanging out with strangers in the buff, but since I am, it wasn't a big deal. (Joking) The guy who did it was really cool, we talked the whole time - I ignored the Enya music and stone fountain thing in the corner, and just babbled. He bartends at a really nice restaurant here and said they are always hiring waitresses. I may just have to check that out because who knows how much money can be made schlepping pizzas.
So next week I train for my new job, start making sales by myself, and start my classes through Macomb. What? A BUSY week, for me? No way!! Another piece of good news is the gas I use for my job, I can write it off, so since I'll be journeying all the time to Warren to take a class, I can just maybe get some help with that gas too. You know, turn in one gas receipt a week or something. I just hope I make a lot of sales so they don't find it odd that I'm driving 400 miles a week and have nothing to show for it. Hahaha.
OMG, best news ever - Ben Folds Jim IMd me the other night and told me that Ben Folds is coming to Detroit on November 26th!!!!!!!!!! I can't even wait, I am SO excited. I'm going so early tomorrow to get tickets, and I'm so excited to see Jim, and Ben of course. ;) It's going to ROCK. Yay!!!
Tomorrow we're going to see Dashboard. I'm not really THAT excited about going... I'm just going because some good friends from home are, and it'll be cool to see them - I really won't know that many songs. But I always love concerts, so I know it'll be a blast! Yaaaaay!
So, I guess that's it. There's still some slight tension in good ole' apartamento 2016, but for the most part, I think everything is going to be OK. Here's hopin, anyway.
Oh, also, at night I'm becoming a best selling author. I'm starting a book but only feel inspiration to write it at 3 am. So, we'll see how it goes. Even though most of you won't need to read it since I talk about it enough anyway, hopefully you will when it's on the shelves with a big gold badge thing saying I'm a millionaire for writing it.
I think I'm on drugs because I have no idea what I'm writing. I think I need a nap. I'll be home alone for the next, oh, 5 years, so it's not like anyone will care. ;) I'll talk to you all soon!
