50 Book Challenge 2013 Book List

Feb 08, 2013 14:42

So this challenge is something I'd been seeing a lot Tumblr, and since it looked fun, and I've never attempted to record my reading habits in any way, I thought I'd give it a shot myself. I've made up a list of some things I'm hoping to get read at some point this year, while crossing off what I've already finished. Some of these I've already read in the past, some I own but have yet to read, and some I don’t own but would like to. There's probably a few others I may end up re-reading as well.

Part of why I'm posting it here is because I'm drawing a complete blank on what else I might be interested in, and am hoping some of my LJ friends may be able to give me recommendations. I don't have any genre preferences (though sci-fi and horror are a plus), but I'll say right off the bat that I'm not interested in the Tumblr staples of Perks of Being a Wallflower, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (which I already have read and disliked), or any of John Green's books. That man is hot as hell, but damn if his writing just doesn't look like anything I'd enjoy.

But, yes, thanks in advance for anything you might suggest. :)
