I: Hail Your New Muggle Studies Teacher
Hello everyone,
My name is Mark Anthony Travers and I will be your Muggle Studies teacher for the rest of the year (and hopefully further on!). I would like to extend the warmest greetings to Headmaster Dumbledore for allowing me to teach here. I understand that there was a bit of a commotion regarding my application, but I'm very glad that's all behind us now.
I would also like to tell the Headmaster what a wonderful idea it is having these computers at Hogwarts! There's not a better way to teach the students about Muggle culture than by having them use an object that Muggles use in daily life. I have plans to bring in many other Muggle artifacts that the students will hopefully enjoy. Hopefully, the Muggleborns taking my class won't get too bored!
I suppose I ought to tell you a little more about myself. I attended Hogwarts as a Slytherin. I spent a few years after Hogwarts doing odd jobs; I was a very unfocused young man. Don't come to me if you need career advice! My last job was to act as a liaison between Muggles and the Wizarding business community.
