Writer's Block...of Epic Proportions
Oh...my...God... I've been writing and writing and going and going for the past month or so... Tonight I opened up my story files...
and
....nothing... Nothing's coming to me.
I have hit the proverbial brick wall at full speed...
Normally, if I'm experiencing writer's block, I take a few days off and come back to it with fresh eyes. But that's usually when I don't have deadlines looming over the horizon. I've got a one-shot due the 17th, which is the one story I thought would not take long at all...but I was wrong... Another story due the 30th...and one due the 7th of October.
Plus my epic Mes-torik T'khiori, which thankfully doesn't have a deadline...other than this century. XD
Maybe I put too much on my plate. O_O
And I honestly don't think that my only having time late at night is helping any. That's when you're tired and the mind tends to wander... But I can't convince people to leave me alone long enough during the day to let me write.
So... I must ask my fellow writing friends and anyone else reading...
How do you deal with writer's block? Any tricks? Any pointers? I'm begging here. XD
