Fic Updates and a Heads up
It's been a while since I've updated or uploaded any fics. But that's not to say I'm not writing anything. :) In fact, I've been writing every day and will soon be publishing a long Star Trek fic that I've been working on for reel_startrek.
But, I figured that I should let those who are curious know what's going on.
First off, Mes-torik T'khiori.
The fic that I consider my baby. ^_^ My dark, crazy, disturbing, villainous baby, but my baby nevertheless. I know it's probably starting to look like I'm never going to finish it, with my sporadic posting schedule... But I will. I promise. Emphatically. The ending is so entrenched in my mind that I simply must write it. But...
I think that I'm going to rewrite it. XD I have some issues with it and it's not entirely what I have been envisioning when I started it. I chickened out in some of the darkest parts and ended up holding back, etc. I want to fix that. So, I'm going to.
When will I start (re)posting it? Hard to say, exactly. I'm working on it in between a few other fics.
So, what else am I working on?
I have a fic called Tangled Mind (with a planned 10 chapters) that I am writing for the Girl Saves Boy Ficathon (girlsavesboyfic)
A short little (planned) one-shot (tentatively called Bruise) for where_no_woman's Uhura Fic Fest.
A planned 6-7 chapter story tentatively titled Prize for a Sonnet, also being written for where_no_woman's Uhura Fic Fest. Think Shakespeare in Love meets Star Trek.
And coming real soon: A fic I wrote for the aforementioned reel_startrek.
It's 13 chapters (~36,000 words) and completed (just need to finish editing, etc) and I just want to warn you now of a potential spam of your flists when I post it. I don't think that will happen, but, just in case, I want to apologize in advance. :)
