well I *thought* I was technologically savvy
So it appears that I have been on Myspace for 3 1/2 years and not realized it. I know, I know... this is quite the accomplishment.
3 1/2 years ago I signed up for Myspace and never got into it. Until today I thought that I had deleted my account, but this weekend when Laura and Anya tried to get me to sign up for Myspace, they discovered that my account was still active. Today, Anya informed me of their findings.
I reckon what happened was I didn't follow all the instructions for deletion of my account, thus my account was never completely deleted. I signed in a few minutes ago and found random messages from very good looking men... I could have kicked myself!
No matter, I am in the process of really officially deleting myself. I think Myspace is unsavory, I don't know. Perhaps after I graduate I'll delete Facebook and make a Myspace, but I don't know... Facebook is just mo betta'!
I feel oddly creepy about having my page up for all these years... like people have been watching me without my knowledge. *shudder* Well, in 48 hours I should be off the Myspace merry-go-round.
