Plotting...
Today over a late lunch at our favorite Denny's, Hunnybun and I worked out the plot of the third book in my Familiar Trouble world, counting June n Peaches as number one, and boy did we come up with some cool stuff. Too bad I really needed to plot out the second book so I can start writing it. O.o.
To be fair, book three is the climax of the factors and forces in June's world finally colliding, which is more exciting than the run up to that big explosion. Doesn't change the fact that I need to figure out the plot of book two, which hinges around the bad guys kidnapping familiars to experiment on them with the goal of creating a reliable test for familiars in domesticated animals. June and Oslo run to the rescue after Peaches investigates and gets kidnapped, er, catnapped himself.
So, for the next few days anyway, I will be plotting...
