Hei Ho, Hei Ho, It's Editing I Go
Finally got my story back from Hunnybun, (love you dear and I know I got antsy, but you did take forever). I started the moment he emailed it back to me last night and worked until my eyes didn't want to stay open. Editing really is a slog, all the little crap gets irritating, but I have to fix them, no matter how minor. Yes, I really need 'an' before that word not 'a', and I dropped a 'that' out of this sentence over here, oh, and here I have she when I meant he.
See, all little, piddly, annoying crap that makes me think I wasn't paying attention when I wrote this. *facepalm*
When I get this crap fixed, it goes out to some reader-type betas who haven't read any of it yet. After I do the edits on their feedback, it goes for a round of professional-writer-type betas who have told me they want to see it.
I might get this ready to send out by January....I hope.
