I am plotting. Evil writer plotting even. heehee
This time my protag is an adult (23-26) who lives in a world where wizards are suspect and feared, and after she loses her job, her home, and her boyfriend, finds out she's a wizard too. Her story is about 40-50 years up the timeline from Mark's story I just finished. An incident has occurred since the end of his story with the presidential election and wizards get blamed. A shoot out happens between the FBI and a group of wizards and innocents get hurt. Panic ensues and everything goes to hell. Wizards are forced onto "Preserves" and imperfect genetic tests weed out those likely to be wizards. My new protag gets to explore the shadow world of the wizard resistance movement. It should be great fun!
I plan on going to my local library and getting info on resistance movements like the underground railroad in the U.S. during slavery and the French resistance during WWII.
I want the plot line written out by May 31st, so I can start once again writing on my birthday and end by January 2012. Just because I missed my goal last time doesn't mean I won't make it this time. I still wrote a book in only 10 months instead of a year. No complaints about improvement from me. lol
