Did I tell you that I saw a crow just before the ghost?
Just as I started to drift into a light sleep during the healing I heard a loud crow "caw" that really grabbed my attention. I was alerted to the sound and the crow flying over the yard and up into the sky the way a person is alerted to important symbols in dreams. It was such a noticeable occurrence that I flipped through the angel cards to see if that was a distraction to keep me from continuing meditation because I was doing great healing work or if it was a sign to stop. The angel cards flipped to the Nature card. It means, "spend time in nature since that is rejuvenating." Obviously this wasn't a direct answer but I thought, "Why not keep trying? It's not like I'm working hard but just imagining white light."
This event has since struck my attention and I have only now tried doing a quick search on what relevance could exist between the crow and all that it is associated with (literature-Poe, Indian folklore and shamans, supersitions). This forum post sounds about right to me:
"I remember hearing somewhere that crows are the link between the spirit world and our present one. They can see spirits and such."
The more I know, the stronger and better protected I am.
