According to "KATU Storm Center":

Snow is pummeling the Cascades at this hour. A HEAVY SNOW WARNING remains in effect through Friday for elevations above 2,000 feet. Travel over all passes this weekend will be slow going and currently chains or traction tires and 4-wheel drive are required. 8-15" more snow is expected today and another 8" tonight. In the valley, look for showers this morning and then steadier rain to increase this afternoon. Highs will only hit the upper 40s. Tomorrow morning, Black Friday, expect scattered showers early in the morning with temperatures in the low 40s. Scattered showers will continue all day long. By Sunday night a colder blast of air arrives with the next system. This one could drop snow levels down as low as 500 feet! Pass travel over the coast range may be difficult and snow may go as low as the west hills, however at this point ,confidence in this low snow level is , well, low.

Just a heads up for Black friday and the weekend... Cheers!
