It's only Monday...

Wow It's going to be a long week. Today has been an extremely long day..but anyways. About graduation. I went to see my advisor on Friday, and just as I thought I forgot about a class that I had to take. He told me to re-work my contract to come up w/ classes to take in the spring, summer and next fall. However...as I got to working on my contract, I noticed that there is no reason for me to graduate in December. If they school will let me, I could walk in May and finish up classes in the summer. I have 6 classes left to take (one of which is one hour, a PE). Rebecca and Jeff suggested that I ask him what classes are offered in the summer and take 2 the first summer session. So that gives me four classes next semester. If it can be done. I would prefer not to have to do through all the trouble of graduating next December. I'm going to have to get financial aid for summer session, but that's les money borrowed than for a semester. However, for some reason if I can't take classes in the summer when I need to then I'll have to come back next fall. It's a mess right now that I'm hoping to take care of sometime this week, if my advisor cooperates w/ me and doesn't give me more wrong info like he has in the past. If he tries to make me take stuff in the summer and fall we're going to have a problem. I'm not wasting money on classes I dont need, even though I wouldnt mind taking some business classes. So we'll see. Today is Jeff's 21st birthday. We went to Lowe's foods last night and he got some beer at midnight. He doesnt feel well today though, which sucks b/c he's sick on his birthday. Hopefully he'll feel better soon. He seems to get sick more often since he's had mono. I called about my plane ticket today. Ingrid from the travel agency quoted $438 or some ungodly amount. I told her I've never had to pay that much even ordering my ticket near Thanksgiving, and that whole purpose of me ordering now was to pay less the $400. I refuse to go over that $400 limit for a freaking plane ticket. So..I did some research(Jeff and I did) looking around for cheaper tickets and everything is basically $400 or above. Which is insane. I dont care that I'm traveling near the holiday, it's still never been this high. So Jeff and I did some calculations and driving will actually be cheaper...a lot. I'll even have money to spare in case of an emergency. I told Jeff to talk to his parents about it when he calls them tonight. I dont know if they'll let us drive or not. Money's a little too tight for me to be paying $400 or more for a plane ticket...but since Jeff is going w/ me (hopefully) then I'll go w/ whatever they feel comfortable with. I hope they'll let us drive...but we'll see. I feel bad for Jeff. He's been planning this party for a long time, and he moved the party so one specific person could make it...and then they made other plans. His friend Sean wont be able to make it either, which sucks. I hope everyone else can make it though. Well...I think I'm done for now. We're gettng ready to go eat at Sakura for Jeff's birthday...yay for Japanese food! I wish it weren't so expensive b/c I'd eat it everyday if I could. Oh well. Later...
