I was browsing through the Freesound Project, and found this
interesting clipActually, what's more interesting is the story behind it (which is at the link): this poster is claiming that this is the one and only audio recording of Mount Saint Helens erupting. The sound is poor quality, and basically sounds like distant thuds, but it struck me with a sweet sensation of dread nonetheless.
Anyone happen to know if it is indeed the only audio recording of the eruption? I'm curious, but not curious enough to dig around myself for clues.
