(no subject)
so after aaron cleaned my house so spic and span (which he did - it's amazing. i don't think i've ever seen my house that clean!) and i got off work, we went to the kitchen to make some food for our nightly ritual of stuffing our faces and watching simpsons/that 70's show/SEINFELD (we are obessed).
we walk into the kitchen, turn on the light, and see in horror that MY KITCHEN IS FLOODED WITH YELLOW-BROWN WATER. a pipe must've burst in the ceiling, because it flooded into the ceiling light and flooded over onto the floor. there are even drips coming down above my sink.
i called my neighbors and the condo president (yes, i live in a condo so we do not have a superintendent or janitor or ANYTHING) said we could do nothing about it. i suppose they are calling the plumber right now, but I AM AT WORK DON'T YOU PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT. the only solution we all came up with at 12 midnight was to turn off all the water to the building AND the electricity to make sure that nothing even worse would happen.
so i barely slept, aaron's gone, my kitchen is flooded, we have no water, and no electricity.
