So Josh really does have a meniscal tear in his cartilage. The question now is whether the tear is on the inside or the outside. Either way he's getting surgery, the location just determines how long his rehab will be and whether or not he'll have arthritis problems when he's older. If it's on the inside of the meniscus, they'll just go in, clean it up, and he'll have arthritis problems. If it's on the outside, they can repair it, but it means he's on crutches for something like 6 to 8 weeks.
Either way, I think Colin put it best when he said, "You know you're on top for the next 6 to 8 weeks, right?"
