mini vacation
So my mom and Jean will not be driving all the way up here on Saturday night. Instead, we've agreed to meet them somewhere in the Poconos. Originally my mom was thinking of Great Wolf Lodge (the place with the indoor water park, for those of you who are semi-familiar with the Poconos) but prices there were too expensive. So instead, she's going to get two rooms at a cheaper hotel (like a Motel 6 or Holiday Inn) and we'll meet them there on Saturday night. They won't arrive until almost 10, but Josh and I figured we'd just leave after he was done work on Saturday. That gives us more time to spend with my mom and Jean, and they have less driving to do. Win-win situation, all around, especially since they'll cover the room and whatever we do, and maybe even my gas.
I'm off to my 8 am class, in which I have a quiz which I haven't studied for because I foolishly left my book in my desk....
