Spinning fire at the Oregon Country Fair, the place where I first saw fire performers, is the highest honor in my life. How to describe the drum circle and that grass, feeling every burn align with the earthy life force that lives in those magical, mossy trees? When I left the drum circle, a man came up to me and asked if I was a Shaman or spiritual leader. I smiled and said no, but that in that circle the meaning of life was most vivid to me - the things that are important are connecting with the elements, feeling as primal as possible, dancing like no one is watching with a big smile radiating across all our faces. He told me, thank you for your energy.
Back with the pesky on/off again lover called the real world, I'm inspired by the journey more than ever. I always feed the most off heartbreak and this reset button is no exception.
