Going out for some mindless pablum

My honey won't be home for another few days, my stomach is still queasy, and the cats are taking me for granted. I decided that my big adventure Sunday afternoon is to go out and see a pleasant and unchallenging piece of fluff. One I've even seen before - "Up". Carl and Ellie - a love story.

So, who also hits the cheap-o theater with me today? All paying their three bucks apiece were:

Half a dozen geriatric women with their walkers, all calling to each other encouragement on getting up the steps and letting their friends know loudly which aisle they could see from.

At least 6 or 8 families who had both [a] young ones in diapers who announced the need for their nursing or diaper changes, as well as [b] slightly older kids who were more interested in running and stomping and discussing it all with Dad.

And, last but not least, a very inappropriately employed caregiver for a developmentally disadvantaged adult. The client was no problem - quiet and apparently enjoyed the movie. The caregiver was yelling at the client "Stay There!" "Sit Here!" until I spoke up and said, "Hey, Loud Guy!". The fool attempted to call me out and start a fight right there in the theatre aisle because I asked him to be quiet. Sheesh.

Today was an anomoly and I'll be back cuz I like the Crest Theatre, but it was the loudest couple of hours I've ever spent in a movie theater.
