note on a cousin moment
We were watching this video again
and right around 41 seconds I say "I love this part!" which is what I say a lot with Flight of the Conchords and she replies, laughing "The Typewriter!" and of course I look at her with surprise that there is a name for that dance move and she says"Well, that's what I'd think it would be called..."
And I think it's a great name. I'll be doing The Typewriter the next time I'm dancing at a party. Hopefully she'll be there because she'll be the only one who will get my frantic shuffling.
She also made the perfect reply when I said I was "Just saying..."
Which is "Nobody's ever 'just saying'".

I always expect people to say that response but of course they don't know that story so I just have to say it in my head. However, apparently I have previously subjected her to the history behind why that is the right response, though I'd forgotten and it surprised me.
It's too fucking bad for me that she's moving out.
