Tempting Your Sweet Tooth
Apologies to people who see this twice.
So, here's the thing. We're having a bit of a financial crisis right now. We need around $1000 to get the AC fixed in our van. And we can't just ignore it and roll down the windows because the car runs on a serpentine belt, so when -- not if -- the busted compressor finally locks up, the car is undriveable. We can theoretically save this up over the next few months, but every time we start the engine, we reduce the mean time until failure by an unknown factor. So the sooner we can get the repairs done the better.
So, we're selling handmade candy. Specifically, marshmallows and lollipops. Some of you on this list have had Saundra's marshmallows before and can attest that they are AWESOME. The lollipops are similarly kick-ass.
I know times are tough all over, but if you do happen to have some spare money to spend on some sweets, cruise on over to the post on her journal and make an order. Or even do as at least one of our friends have done: print out the post and take it to work to share the love with your co-workers. We have no problem with sending out bulk orders.
And, of course, feel free to pimp this around on your own journals if you're so inclined. Every little bit helps!
