HOLY SPAZ ATTACK, BATMAN!!!!
Just came in the door from seeing Batman Begins and am so happy with it, that I am still grinning like an idiot... and every now and again I make an idiotic noise and give way to a small fit of giggles. I wore my cape, of course. The cool one with bat ears on the hood! Someone else was wearing a Wolverine mask... which was weird...
But I adored the movie.
Ever since a was a wee bern (I have actually never attempted to put that word into writing before), watching Adam West and Burt Ward running about in spandex on TV, Batman has been my absolute favorite superhero. I mean...he is so ba-dass
I am so glad that Christian Bale got to be Batman! He really deserved an excellent part like this after being Jack in the Newsies(sure he's been in other roles too... but none of those really count). Katie Holms... eh... I pretty much hate her. Cillian Murphy; Good stuff.
And how could we(meaning me) not mention Liam Neeson! He was wonderful- and I was so glad to see him in a good part after that pile of Utter Crap that was Kingdom of Heaven..
I know I am not giving any articulate idea of why this was such a good movie- but I am still in euphoria, and making understandable statements about talent or anything is quite beyond me just now.
Oh my... there was once scene that I just never ever wanted to end! I loved it so very much.. but it was quite short. It was this one:
I'm not entirely sure why, but his training in the mountains just mesmerized me. Particularly their fights on the ice like this...I more than loved it.
I wish I had a better Batman icon- but unfortunately my own graphic making programs are all down, and I can't find anyone that's already made some. Ergo, I had to just quickly slap this ugly little thing together using the normal paint program. But I can wait for a good icon... for my love of Batman is something that never dies!
And now for a classic Batman the cartoon quote:
"I am vengeance. I am the night. I...Am....Batman!"
