If you haven't seen the movie Blood Diamond, I suggest you go and see it. It was probably one of the most moving movies I've seen in a while, and it totally changed my perspective on everything. I don't think I can ever look at a Diamond the same way again. Even though I know that the movie wasn't totally true, it was based on true facts, which is sickening. It makes me realize how lucky I am to be living where I am, to have family and friends around me, and all the little things I take for granted. It amazes me how people can turn against eachother like that for something they believe is so valuable, that they take lives for it. Something that we see and take advantage of everyday.
The touching story underneath it all was amazing as well. I usually hate action-filled, bloody movies, but this one really hit me, and it was quite inspiring. I wanna go save the world now.
Especially since Leonardo DiCaprio was in it, I loved it even more =]
