I put the class in....well...class

So yesterday was my second class at Madonna. It was good...very good. It was an actual "class." Tuesday was maybe 1/2 a class. You know, mostly "This is the syllabus" and "Here's how the class will run." You know the kind....the generic "first day of classes." Not yesterday. Yesterday was a bondafide class. 4 pages of notes (and a cramp in my writing hand) later, and Psychopathology in Adults is officially up and running. I think it will be a very good class. Intro to Clinical Theory will definitely be helpful in establishing the fundamentals of where we're coming from, but Psychopathology will definitely have more practical applications. And that....that is exciting.

I had to order another $200 worth of books last night from Amazon.com because there were more required texts than I had purchased, and the bookstore didn't have any of them. Nice. The bookstore however had Snyder's pretzel snaps which are YUMMY and fun green hoodies with "Madonna" in yellow writing. I think I will have to get one. I got a sweatshirt from WTC before it closed, out of pity, but it's not very cool. It's kind of stiff and weird-fitting. The green hoodie looks much more comfy. School spirit. WOO HOO!

Today is Friday. That's pretty good news. I have to go to the Farmington Hills Public Library today at lunch to photocopy some stuff, since I won't get my DSM-IV TR before next class and we have homework ( homework!!!) due next week. I am pretty gung-ho, I guess. I think I'm probably pretty annoying to those who aren't as big of nerds as I am. :o) That's ok. SCHOOL IS COOL.
