After some turmoil, I gave my "pro sweatshop" speech today. overall, it went well from a public speaking perspective. though, i don't know how my speech affective was, i do know that my TA, trevor is a bloody, misinformed fool.
trevor: lindsay, any university trained economist would disagree with all of the claims that you just gave in your speech, and say that sweatshops are really, in fact, bad for people.
me: meh, i'm pretty sure more economists than not are libertarians, too.
