My European odyssey has come to an end. What an amazing trip! Thought I'd catch-up on a few random tidbits from the voyage.

When I was visiting a small town in The Netherlands, they had this thing called a "treintaxi." Basically it let you use a taxi to anywhere in the town for a flat, reasonable price, as long as you were traveling to or from the ( Read more... )

Did you use your iPhone over there in data-roaming mode?

Yes, but very carefully. I purchased AT&T's international data roaming plan, which I think included 50mb for $59.99. I was careful to use it sparingly, and tried to use WiFi instead whenever possible.

Hey, I'm glad you had a great trip!
I think you saw a lot for traveling by train, having a car makes things a lot easier (but a bit more expensive I guess).

And man, next time I go to Austria, I need to check out that Alpine Coaster. I hope to visit Magic Mountain before that though!
