While you were sleeping, someone was watching you on a videocamera, and a computer recorded your breathing, your brainwaves, movements, heartbeat, blood oxygen level and eye movements during REM sleep.
No, it's not from some Orwellian novel... it's what they do when you have an overnight sleep study.
How anyone is supposed to sleep with so many wires attached to them is beyond me. But I did manage to sleep for awhile, and they were able to get some useful data.
I believe this is the eleventh time I've gone in for an overnight sleep study.
