Go Wings

so, it's been a while, but I really haven't been in the mood for anything...except for getting lost in the world of computer and video games. But, I'll try to put three weeks in review. Graduation was good, long because Glasser doesn't know what a five minute speech is, but it was good. Daniel Bradley was walking too so I wasn't all by myself. Spent a few days with Glenn's folks. His mom wanted us to get pictures done, she paid for them so I had to real complaint. Glenn took me to the power plant where his dad works at and where he works at in the summer. That was fun, a bit cold when riding around in a golf cart, but it was fun. When I came home the house was empty, dad and stuart were both at work, that wasn't fun being home alone, the house is sure different. Played for church Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, that went well...had to get my brain back in transposing mode...reading the tenor line, talk about fun. Glenn came up the day after Boxing Day, and he left today, so he was here for New Years. It was good times. My brother Alan gave us his tickets to the first day of the Great Lakes Invitational (A Hockey Tournament). That was a blast...nothing better than seeing Michigan St. beat Michigan Tech, and U of M fans get pissed off cause their team played like pooooooo. Glenn had a run in with purple New Years Eve, my poor boy, I love him. He also let me play Rome Total War...big mistake, now I'm addicted. I love the family tree thing, especially when a 12 year-old can marry a 40 year-old then six months later have a kid. Things that make you go hmmmmm. But anyhoo...hopefully Eastside Music will call me this week or next and let me know about the clarinet studio position, I'd be happy with one student. I should go to Amato and ask if they are in need for a clarinet teacher, but there's some past politics over there that I don't want to touch with a 40 foot pole. I also need to find a real job...FUN...but I much rather be flexible with my time right now, my sister-in-law has been having a real tough time lately. She dislocated her shoulder and not allowed to do anything and now she's having migraines...not much fun. It's just hasn't been a good fall/winter for anybody. But that's been my holiday, boring and non-productive. At least the Christmas holiday is over and Epiphany is here, soon it will be Lent my favorite season of all, woo hoo!!!
