what if
what if god allowed you to have one superhuman power what would it be?
i think of things like invisibility, super strength, flying and telepathy.
i think though i would choose the super power of predictability. now i'm not talking fortune teller crap. i'm talking real knowing what's gonna happen before it happens.
check it:
my life would be so much more productive. my wife comes down to ask me to do the dishes and they're already done...cause i knew she was gonna ask. or before my wife can ask me to do the dishes i ask her to do them. even better i say.
i would quit my job, take $1 to a casino, play roulette and make as much money as i'll ever need. i'd never need directions on a road trip. i'd know which line to get in at the grocery store (8 items or less my ass). i'd know if it's worth my time to go out or not. my friend asks me to go to a party with him, i tell him no it's gonna suck and we'll get our asses kicked. decision simple.
and if i were single it would be crazy. i'd know which blind dates to stand up and which ones to go on. "hi i'm renee nice to meet you", "hi i'm james we're gonna have sex tonight".
the best feature of all is that i'd know when i'm gonna die. i'd go up to everyone i hate and tell them "you are such a good person, life will be blessed for you. i'm glad to have met you and you are an inspiration to me. and if i'm lying may god strike me dead"
maybe i need to think of more insightful things. like fiscal policy...and it's affects on the porn industry.
