When I get there bro?? Come on I've been there...I know exactly what tech school is like. I've been to two different tech schools! I also went through a crash course in the Air Force's School of Hard Knocks! I know it does that to you, but there's something I've noticed about you Clark....and in all actuality, it probably happens to everybody when they just come through basic and through tech school. You're all knocking the system and dirtbag Airman this, dirtbag Airman that.... but you haven't arrived yet! The mindset in basic/tech school is that you're a dirtbag if you don't put your hat on .2 seconds after you walk out the door. That mindset is horseshit...so don't get too caught up in it.

If by "I've been there" you mean here, at DINFOS, in school? That's how I meant it. I said that because I've spent time studying headlines, newspapers, articles, features. I look for this shit. Dammit I just wrote a huge response to this and it gave me an error. I come back and my whole response is erased arghh!

Bottom line: you didn't fly off the handle, I did. I guess I'm just tired of people acting like they know it all just coming in...and the "you'll see" on the end of your comment is kinda what set me off on that road. I understand exactly what you meant...I do.

I had a first response I lost too. I'm actually kind of glad it's lost.

I don't know it all, I'm not one of those guys who calls out other peopke's mistakes. I don't correct other people's uniforms. My rm is one of those people and I can't stand it.

I've had RMT, 4 LOCs, I was recycled in basic and in tech school, I've been reclassed and I came pretty close to being separated. I was within .65 points of being recycled here too. I've been wearing the same pair of BDUs for 3 weeks. My boots need to be polished. Half the time, I don't don't pay attention so I miss saluting officers. I'm not a perfect airman. I don't want to be, and I never claimed to be, but I don't put that stuff in my lj.

Sometimes I come off as holier than thou, and I know it. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, man.
