A glass case of emotion....
Today was ups and downs all over.
Woke up at 7:15 because my dog was having seizures. He's 18 1/2, so my parents decided to put him down. We drove to the vet, and did that, which wasn't very fun, but at least it's what's best.
Directly afterward, I went to drama from 9-2, where we actually got through the entire play(!!!!) without any errors. This would have been done weeks ago, only my director had this "brilliant" idea to give the understudies their own show, which has screwed up everything. Yea, it's a nice thought, but it's like doing two different shows at once which just doesn't work. Plus, all the leads were then forced to learn 2 parts. (Their own part, and the ensemble part for understudy day).
Frustrations have been running high recently. We have 6 rehearsals left. That's it. And we have yet to do the whole thing with costumes. Ick. I think the main shows will be good, but as for the understudies' show, well.... I'm terrified.
Drama itself has been awesome though. I've made tons of friends this year, and rekindled some that had died out. The freshmen are really cool for the most part (I know, shocking, right?) and it's been so fun. Just some of our conversations alone make me feel like, "Hey- I'm not totally crazy for loving this so much.."
Drove home, slept for an hour, and I've been nice and bored for the remainder of the day.
So, today's kind of like a roller coaster, only I didn't do it voluntarily, and it's not making me feel good.
