Back behind the camera
Well, I've gone out and purchased the brand-new, upgraded Panasonic AG-DVX100A camera with some accessories. This sucka shoots in 24p mode and has that "film-look" which, quite frankly, looks awesome! Already landed a gig to shoot a reality TV Show for the NBA All-Star event in February. The production company is searching for a 24p lighting guru - anybody out there that can help? There IS pay! And lots of it!
I also landed a part-time gig as a casting director's assistant. It's working out really well. I met the film's director tonight and he really seemed to like me. I think I could transition right into filming and beyond with these people.
Anyway, it feels nice to be back behind the camera shooting. Having a professional grade camera makes all the difference. Our music video shoot is almost fully cast and now I have the perfect camera to shoot it with. And our original demo recording has been upgraded to a debut EP. It's almost done, just finishing up the vocal tracks and then the final mix.
