this is gonna try and be one of those reflective journals on my year at college, but probably end up as a lot of dribble and bullshit. enjoy!
i'm sure most everyone else feels the same way, but it is sooo weird to look back on the beginning of freshman year. things were so much different then they are now or have been for awhile. not that i was really "innocent," but it just seems like i know a lot more about the workings of college and life in certain respects after just 8 months here. looking back at the beginning i was so fucking scared of things like volleyball and friends, etc. just not knowing what to expect is tough. i'm so happy now with how things have turned out. except for my friend marc. i hate him soooo much. but not as much as the vampire midget that lives in my room. (no joke). i'm so excited to go home for summer, but i can't wait to come back and get into fall again.
things i've learned from first year of college:
-dont' trust freshmen boys!
-really don't trust upperclassmen boys!!
-really really don't trust upperclassmen zbt boys that roofie girls!!!
-encourage your roommate to shower frequently or maybe just occassionally
-don't hook up in bathrooms....only laundry rooms are good public spaces for going down on someone.
-don't ever cry while eating a whole bag of sunchips.
-don't let school interfere with fun (like i often did).
-lock your computer if you don't want your friends professing your love to random boy friends over aim
-make lots of gay friends...they point out hot guys, they have fashion sense, and they introduce you to the wonders of softcore gay porn! :)
-do not...and i repeat do not! go to calculus class.
