AHHH!  That's how my life feels right now :)  but in a good way, I promise.  Since I posted last, which really was only a week and a half ago, I think, I gave my two weeks notice of resignation at OCRF and I managed to already get a new job - Awards Girl and Company Manager for StarQuest, the dance competition company that Emily works for.  its pretty perfect for my time needs before I move - StarQuest will carry me through the end of May and then I'll move the end of June so, yeah...I can cater in between things and also learn a lot from a new job with StarQuest!  I know it will be tiring but I'm excited about it and I think it will be nice to have the experience under my belt.  Emily trained me a bit tonight and then I'm going to Omaha with her for a competition this weekend.  and then the next weekend we're going to pittsburgh!  so yeah, all of this happened really quickly, but it feels right.

still no decision on the alex grad school front - he was at university of michigan - ann arbor last week and seemed to like it and he's at case western in cleveland right now, and university california - davis told him today that they won't fly him out to see the school, and the professors at michigan state really really like him, soooooo that's where we are right now!  he still has until april 15th to decide.

easter at home was fun.  my dad got me sick, though.  boooo.  I had to go to the doctor today and get antibiotics and everything!  its a good thing I have health insurance until next wednesday, so I was covered... but lots of the high school girls came over to the current harvey parsonage for an egg hunt and egg dyeing party.  and I managed to only have to go to two church services - good friday at my dad's church and easter sunday 11am service at my mom's.  I had the best of intentions of going to sunrise service at grace on easter morning but when I woke up and saw that it was SNOWING on freaking easter morning, I thought, heck no and went back to bed.  my parents and I had easter dinner at the burgers' house which was so sad because it was the second dinner we had there in the past couple of months without alex.  we're planning on coming to st. louis around the fourth of july, so we'll see.
